| Description |
Financial Reporting Assistant
Our client is searching for a Financial Reporting Assistant to assist the Assistant Commercial Accountant in providing financial and KPI analysis to the business, identifying and investigating trends and discrepancies as appropriate. You will have the following responsibilities:
Assist in the production and issue of daily and weekly financial and KPI reports, investigating discrepancies and providing commentary as required;
Assist in the production of periodic financial reporting
Assist in the identification and building of new daily and weekly financial and KPI reports in line with the businesses growth
Ideally you will be a part qualified (AAT) accounts assistant who is confident in building and presenting reports and have an inquisitive nature and the ability to analyse large amounts of data and draw out conclusions. Previous experience in a similar role in a commercial organisation would be advantageous.
Good communication (verbal/written) skills are essential as is a very strong working knowledge of excel, database packages and computerised accounting packages.
