 Description
Our client is searching for a Financial Assistant who speaks fluent French and English to provide general assistance to the Financial Accounting team, including liaising with external suppliers and internal authorisers, inputting invoices, preparing payment runs, petty cash and cheque management.

Your Responsibilities

• You will check the system for incoming payments
• You will take receipt of invoices and expense claims
• You will prepare twice weekly bank transfer payment run in the system for authorisation
• You will manage payment queries
• You will liaise with bank regarding any returned payments and arrange for repayment
• You will communicate remittance advice / payment breakdown to suppliers
• You will have responsibility for petty cash / cheque control
• You will also participate in adhoc project work

Your Professional Profile
• You will ideally have an accounts qualification
• You are an accurate and organised person with an eye for detail
• You possess very good analytical skills and an affinity to numbers and have the ability to work on your own initiative
• You are a team player with excellent communication skills who is confident in dealing with internal and external clients.
