Title Risk and Payments Manager
Role RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a newly established egaming company who has a great opportunity for a Risk and Payments Manager to join this high performance team based in Gibraltar. What is the plan for the Risk and Payments Manager role?

The candidate will report to COO and be responsible for set up and implementation of various activities, methodologies and teams in Risk, AML and Payments to support and enhance customer experience across our lottery products. As part of your role, you will liaise with Product and Development teams to specify and procure back office functionality to support operational requirements.

What will you do as a Risk and Payments Manager?

Payments

Prepare RFP for payment providers and establish best option.
Support Integration and configuration of preferred provider.
Implementation of various country based payment providers.
Ownership over the cashier performance KPIs and reporting such as acceptance rate, failed deposits, player messages etc.
Design and implementation of compliant processes & procedures for customer payments (i.e. Withdrawals, Chargebacks, Refunds etc.)
Recruit, train, build and manage a payments team.

Risk, fraud & AML

Prepare RFP for various KYC and player verification tools and establish best option for integration.
Develop and implement effective and compliant KYC methodologies.
Fraud detection and prevention strategies to mitigate fraud losses while ensuring an appropriate balance between risk and customer experience.
Preparation of AML assessment together with Head of compliance.
Implementation of AML policy based on AML assessment and regulation requirements.
Creation of fraud rules based on analytics and segmentation.
Ongoing reporting on AML potential risks and preparations of SAR.
Implementation of responsible gambling processes and procedures, identification and reporting.
Design and implementation of compliant processes & procedures for risk, responsible gambling and AML.
Recruit, train, build and manage a team responsible for KYC, Fraud and AML.

What do you know that makes you a great Risk and Payments Manager?

Proven experience (at least 2 years) in managing risk and payments teams ideally in the online gambling industry.
Formal training in AML an advantage.
Good understanding of compliance and regulation in the gambling industry
Solid understanding of Financials and KPIs.
Fluent in english and good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
Self-motivated and driven but above all a team player.

Salary 40k - 45k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
